1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Dateup ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Dateup is an AI-powered dating profile optimization platform that provides:
- AI photo enhancement and background removal
- AI-generated conversation starters and reply suggestions
- AI-powered dating profile reviews and scoring
3. Who Can Use Dateup
- Adults only. You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher. Dateup is not for anyone under 18.
- Built for the US. Dateup is a US-focused service. You can use it from elsewhere, but you are responsible for following your local laws.
- One account per person. Sign in with your own valid Google account. Don't share it or create extra accounts to get more free credits.
- You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for everything done with it.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
- Dateup offers a one-time $5 HD unlock for a single photo and three one-time credit packs (Quick Fix, Profile Makeover and Dating Season), each with its own feature limits and validity period. Existing Wingman subscriptions continue on their current terms until cancelled.
- Payments are processed securely through Dodo Payments.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the current billing period. No refund is issued for unused time.

5. Acceptable Use
Keep it simple and honest. When you use Dateup:
- Your photos only. Upload photos of yourself, or photos you have the right to use, for enhancements and reviews.
- Never anyone under 18. Don't upload photos of minors, even in group shots.
- No nudity or sexual content.
- No fakes. Don't use results to impersonate someone or to create fake profiles.
- Openers use public profiles only. The openers tool reads a screenshot of someone's public dating profile only to suggest messages. Don't upload private messages or any of their personal info beyond what is on their profile.
- No harassment. Don't use Dateup to harass, deceive, or harm anyone.
- Don't abuse or try to reverse-engineer the AI systems, access the Service with bots or scripts, or resell outputs commercially without permission.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Refunds don't apply to accounts suspended for breaking them.
6. AI-Generated Content
AI outputs (enhanced photos, conversation suggestions, profile reviews) are generated by third-party AI models and provided "as is." We do not guarantee the accuracy, appropriateness, or effectiveness of AI-generated content. Use your own judgment when applying suggestions to your dating profiles.
7. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of the photos you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to process your photos through our AI services. AI-enhanced outputs are owned by you for personal use.
8. Limitation of Liability
Dateup is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to dating outcomes, AI-generated content accuracy, or service interruptions.
9. Termination
We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, including the rules in section 5. You may delete your account at any time through Settings. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of India.
