When you use Dateup, we collect the following information:

• Account information: Your name, email address, and profile photo provided through Google Sign-In.
• Photos you upload: Images you submit for enhancement, background removal, or profile review.
• Usage data: How you interact with our features (e.g., number of enhancements, reviews).
• Payment information: Processed securely by our payment provider (Dodo Payments). We do not store your card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide AI photo enhancement, chat assistance, and profile review services.
• To manage your account and subscription.
• To improve our services and user experience.
• To communicate important updates about your account.

3. AI Processing

Photos you upload are sent to third-party AI providers (xAI, OpenAI) for processing. These providers process your images to generate enhancements and are bound by their own privacy policies. We do not use your photos to train AI models.

4. Data Storage

Your enhanced photos are stored securely on Supabase cloud storage. You can delete your photos at any time from the Gallery page. When you delete a photo, both the original and enhanced versions are permanently removed.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We share data only with:

• AI service providers (for photo processing)
• Payment processors (for subscription management)
• Cloud infrastructure providers (for hosting and storage)

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data through your account settings.
• Delete your photos from the Gallery at any time.
• Delete your entire account from Settings.
• Cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure authentication via Google OAuth, and encrypted data storage.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through your registered email or a notice on our website.
